irm friends for years, Joel and Patrick would often discuss the market over a pint or two trying to prize out information about each other's company;. Both being at the top of their game, clients would often narrow them down to the last two when choosing an agent to instruct. This healthy rivalry would never get in the way of their shared dreams to set up the "ultimate independent agency".
As the pair explained in a recent interview with SW magazine:.
“ We want to offer exposure as wide as any large corporate organisation, whilst maintaining the service ethos of a local independent agent". Says Joel, "We have a prime corner location between the commons and we are adapting new technologies to keep ahead of the pack. All of these factors help separate us from the hordes of agents operating in our area.
However, the single most important thing in the estate agency business is people, and I believe that we have put together an exceptional team. One of the differences between using us over another agent is that some individuals are better at selling houses than others - it's as simple as that".
Patrick added, "Joel and I have lived and worked in the area for so long that we know every inch of our territory. We are 100% dedicated to offering a quality service, professional advice and achieving the best price for our client. It's surprising how many people in our business forget that fundamentally this is what we are being paid for. One of the best things about using a good independent agent, is that they are even more committed to ensuring things go right for the client. If you own the business, your mind doesn't just switch off when you turn out the light at the end of the day. When you're dealing with a director of the company on a daily basis it is surprising how much more quickly things get done.
